Gays Being Outed by the "G" Key on the Keyboard
This is something I never considered. Apparently, some gay men are terrified of someone checking their computer or phone by using certain keys because the person checking can read their search history to find out personal information about them.
One user in the r/askgaybros subreddit said that the “G” key one of the biggest culprits. “Guys talk about how they panic when their parents type ‘P’ in the Google search bar on their computer. That’s only for straight guys,” he wrote. “For us, its ‘G.’”
You can check the rest out, here. And even though I hate to state the obvious, you can do a simple search for how to clear your search history. I'm no tech expert and even I know that.
Why Outing LGBTQ People Is Dangerous
Here's a piece about a young actor named Alex Diaz who was outed by a fitness coach. Being outed is a big HUGE thing for LGBTQ people. You don't do it. Ever. Not even if you think you have good intentions. Never, ever do this.
Alex Diaz, a Filipino actor and former VJ, was outed earlier this week by a fitness coach who shared personal messages between the two on Instagram. Personal messages are supposed to remain, well, personal, and by outing Diaz, his coach may have placed his career and even his life in danger.
Here's the rest.
After he was outed, the poor guy left a long message on his Insta. It's very moving.
