Of course this article is about deeper content, but I get sick and tired of journalists who know nothing about Pride Month. They constantly refer to it as "Gay" Pride Month and it's not. It is simply "Pride Month." It's not just gay anymore. At least get this one thing right.

In any event, this October, young kids in the Los Angeles school district will learn more about gay and trans identity. 

The Human Rights Campaign will offer a glossary or words for LGBTQ+.

such as “cisgender,” “gender binary,” “intersex,” “non-binary,” “sex assigned at birth,” “bisexual,” “gay,” “pansexual,” and “queer.”
