Matt Damon's Homophobia
When I posted about homophobic Matt Damon in the past I never expected to read something like this. Even I couldn't have predicted this. But then I have never liked the way Hollywood gives gay parts to toxic straight men like Damon and I've never been shy about posting my opinions and reviews.
And once again, I was right. This just proves that Matt Damon is homophobic.
Actor Matt Damon says he only recently stopped using the homophobic "f-slur for a homosexual" after his daughter explained it was unacceptable.
Here's more. Okay, wait just one minute. He just recently stopped using the F-word? He's been playing gayface and exploiting gay men all this time and he just figured out he's not supposed to use that word? Give me a break.
And it took his daughter to point out to him that it's wrong to use anti-gay slurs like that?
Matt Damon's Daughter Tells Him Not to Use Anti-Gay Slurs and This Guy Applauds Him
Here's an opinion piece written by a gay man who is applauding Matt Damon for finally realizing he should stop using the anti-gay F-word. I'm not making this up. This guy is actually praising the homophobic, Matt Damon.
Matt Damon said an offensive word. His daughter corrected him and explained why it is offensive. Matt Damon realized he was being hurtful and modified his behavior. That should be the end of that.
Here's the link. But no, that's not the end of that. Try doing that with any other minority on this planet and see what happens. I dare you.
Cancel Matt Damon.
UPDATE: After receiving backlash, Matt Damon is now backtracking and claiming he never used an anti-gay slur in his straight male privileged life. Okay. Here's that one. It doesn't say anything about him playing gayface or making ridiculous homophobic comments about playing gayface in the past. Or what he said about gay love scenes in the past.
Damon explained that the numerous gay sex scenes were not exactly comforting for him. “The scene where I’m behind him and going at him, we did that in one take. We do it. Cut. There’s a long pause. And then you just hear Steven [director Steven Soderbergh] go, ‘Well… I have no notes.’”
Here's that link. I still find him repulsive and I don't believe a word he says. But what's really interesting in Twitter is how the straight people are defending him. We truly are the last minority.
