TV and LGBTI Diversity; A British Honey Ad With Three Gay Bears; Gay Subculture of the Vatican

TV and LGBTI Diversity

Here's an article that points out a few facts about how LGBTI people are represented on TV now as compared to the way they have been in the past.

But it can be done, and it can be done well. In fact, there are a number of great shows already taking queer diversity to a whole new level of complexity. So we’ve composed a list of TV shows whose creators actually took the time to imagine amazing transgender or gender fluid characters, some of whom happen to be people of color.

You can check out the rest here. They list 10 shows that break the typical stereotypes.

A Honey Ad With Three Gay Bears

There's a new series of honey ads out with the three gay bears from that British honey company.

“We cast and wrote very carefully, taking advice from people within the community, and encouraged the cast to co-write the scripts and be their genuine selves. Ultimately this is a funny and charming breakfast show for everyone and made with love and fun.”

You can read the rest here. There are photos, too.

Gay Subculture of the Vatican

There's a new book out that talks about sex in the dorms at the Vatican youth seminary, and how it's allegedly been kept hidden all these years. I've posted about the gay priests I knew in real life who were living double lives right here in New Hope, PA. Nothing would surprise me...other than the Vatican coming out with the total truth about what goes on. That would shock me.

gathers together years of exposes into the gay subculture of the Vatican. The new claims concern the Vatican’s St. Pius X pre-seminary for middle and high schoolers who are considering a possible vocation to the priesthood.

Here's the rest. It's interesting.
