Perez Hilton Can't Find a Date, Gay Men Are Dying From Another Crisis, Ryan Field Books

Perez Hilton Can't Find a Date

According to Perez Hilton, the majority of gay men don't like him. And, he can't get a date.

From the way it looks, Hilton has branded himself a certain way, that branding worked well, and now it sounds as though he might regret it a little. No matter what he does he seems to get backlash wherever he goes.

“I thought I was doing something positive but the response I got to that video shook me to my core,” he claims. “The overwhelming majority of comments said, ‘How dare you make an It Gets Better video. You’re a hypocrite, you’re a bully. You’re part of the problem.’ It made me change everything.”

Here's the rest. I'm honestly not that familiar with Hilton, or what he does. I just think if you live your life a certain way you should expect certain reactions. It's only natural

Gay Men Are Dying From Another Crisis

I didn't know anything about this new crisis up until now, especially with regard to gay men. This is an op-ed piece that talks about something that no one seems to be taking seriously in the mainstream or anywhere else.

Today, the gay community is facing another crisis that we’re not talking about and that elected officials are once again ignoring. Crystal methamphetamine has become a popular temptation for gay men, leading many to addiction.

Here's a link to the rest of it. It's a very interesting piece that also talks about the stress levels gay men face and how they learn to cope. Sometimes with solutions that are often considered risky behaviors. I highly suggest reading it.

What readers are saying about...

Sleepless in San Franciso

 Reader Reviews:
"The extras made the story: the Labrador retriever, the ten year old son, the best friend, and even the new house needing renovation. Never imagined that the son had been raised by two Dads."
"THIS TITLE sucked me right the heck in. I had my fingers, toes, and ankles crossed (not my eyes because I was desperate to read) that I would get the chance to review this book. I may or may not have breathed a literal sigh of relief when it arrived on my Kindle."

"Gender bendy romance classic retelling"

Written by Lambda-Award winning author Ryan Field, A Starr Is Born is a queer retelling of an old rags to riches trope that’s been reinterpreted many times, but this time it’s totally different with gay main characters, a gay love story, and a gay male point of view. It’s partly a light-hearted parody and partly sarcasm. It’s also highly erotic and charged with authentic, emotional gay male romance.

From the day they meet for the first time until the day their lives change forever, Harrison Parker and Morton Starr were destined for greatness—and each other. A Starr is Born follows the paths of handsome, badly-behaving rock star Harrison Parker and sexy gender-bending performer Morton Starr, who is just starting his career.

Morton is so madly in love with his husband, Harrison, he’ll do anything to please him, including overlooking all his self-destructive issues. However, as openly gay Morton gains more fame and success in the mainstream with his popular gay love songs and his unique gender-bending image, and Harrison continues to slide downhill, there comes a point where everything has to change. And when that climax finally happens, Morton isn’t certain about anything in his future or his marriage.
