I haven't seen this story reported yet in any of the gay presses, which is surprising. They're usually on top of this kind of thing. Maybe they missed it.
Mika Brzezinski is facing growing backlash - including criticism from President Donald Trump - after calling Secretary of State Mike Pompeo a "wannabe dictator's butt boy" Wednesday during a segment of "Morning Joe."
You can read the rest, here. Of course she tried to do damage control with the expected quasi apology Tweet, but that only sparked more controversy and more comments.
NY Judge Resigns After Homophobic Comments
Speaking of homophobic words, here's another story on the same topic as the one above.
A judge in New York is resigning at the end of the year after allegedly making homophobic remarks regarding Hollywood actor Viggo Mortensen.
You can check this out, here. They go into more detail about what he allegedly said...and what he did with hand gestures.
Charity Turns Down Gay Wrestler's Donations
I just posted about openly gay wrestler, Dave Marshall, and all the good work he's doing for charity. Well, he raised a lot of money for a charity called Beyond Blue, and they actually turned him down.
GayStarNews now reports that the charity contacted Marshall in an email after his story went viral to say it can’t accept his donation because the funds come from activities such as “gambling, alcohol and pornography.”
Here's the link. It gets even worse. But there is some good news at the end, too. You'll want to finish reading this one. It's worth it.
