I remember posting about this series, After Forever, a while ago, and I finally had a chance to see it.
I liked it for many reasons, one of which is that it explores the relationship of a gay couple who have been in a long term relationship and they are forced to face one of the worst realities of life.
I should add that it's not always totally realistic, but it's not far off the mark. It's kind of like a m/m romance novel turned into a TV series. And you have to watch the entire series to get the full meaning. I think most people who read my books, or books like mine, will love this series.
Mitchell Anderson and Kevin Spirtas, the two main characters, are both openly gay in real life, too.
Here's a link to more about it.
I Love Michael and Michael Are Gay Web Series
The title of Episode 2 of Michael and Michael Are Gay is "Dinner with Straights," and it explores open marriage 3-ways. The reaction from the straight couple is priceless. You're not going to see this material on Will and his Grace.
The latest installment features Andy Bean (Here and Now, Power) and Cloie Wyatt Taylor (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Futureman) as the Michaels’ straight dinner companions. It was directed by Ian Alda (Silicone Valley) and Annika Kurnick and shot/edited by Russell Lee Cramer.
You can watch the episode, here, and read more.
This is excellent gay content, and it's all crowdfunded. I can't praise this show enough. And, it's funny.
Nico Tortorella On Self Pleasure
Here's another reason why I love Nico Tortorella. Always honest, and always up front.
Please keep in mind that Nico prefers gender neutral pronouns, and this article respects that.
“Let’s break some things down for a minute,” they wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post. “I talk all this big game about polyamory and LGBTQ identity. This year, I haven’t had the time to properly explore secondary or tertiary relationships outside my marriage in meaningful ways. That however does not invalidate my queer existence. In fact, the majority of my sexual expression manifests via self-pleasure.”
Here's the rest.
