This was pretty bad and I left a few of my own comments about this kind of homophobia on Twitter today. Apparently, though, the straight people at the NYT didn't think there was anything wrong with it.
Following Donald Trump’s summit with Vladimir Putin in Helsinki, the New York Times tweeted an animated video today that was originally released last month titled Trump and Putin: A Love Story. The whole joke is — as you might have guessed from the title — that Trump and Putin are gay.
One woman summed it all up for me with a quick tweet.
Stop this shit. Gay men are not a punchline.

Pose the TV Show: LGBT Ball Culture
We started watching the FX TV series called, Pose, and I realize I know absolutely nothing about what's considered "Gay Ball Culture."
So if you're like me and you don't know anything about it here's a quick explanation from Wiki...
Ball culture, the house system, the ballroom community and similar terms describe an underground LGBT subculture in the United States in which people "walk" (i.e., compete) for trophies and prizes at events known as balls. Some who walk also dance; others compete in dragcategories, designed to emulate other genders and social classes. Most participants in ball culture belong to groups known as "houses".

Harry Styles Says He's "A Little Bit Gay"
There's an old episode of The Golden Girls where Dorothy's son comes to visit her and he announces that he's engaged. But there's a twist. He tells Dorothy that the woman he's engaged to is... Lorraine is kind of black. Then Dorothy says, What does that mean, kind of black? That's, uh That's like being kind of Spanish. Of course Dorothy doesn't care about the race issue, she's more concerned about the age difference because the woman is a good deal older than her son. But that's what this comment from Harry Styles reminded me of.

The former One Direction heartthrob was giving the final concert of his solo tour in Inglewood, California over the weekend when he noticed a fan’s sign that read “I’m gay and I love you”.
In response, he said: “I love you as well, thank you for coming… and I mean, we’re all a little bit gay, aren’t we?”
Here's more. This might sound like something small to some of you, but tell this to the people in other countries I post about where you can still go to jail for being gay...or worse.
