New Peter Hujar Exhibit; Gay Porn: Sean Cody Star Charged With Murder; Frank Ocean and Timothee Chalamet Interview

New Peter Hujar Exhibit

When it comes to art I love anything abstract, LGBT, vintage, 1970s, and unusual. And this combines all that, plus more.

Peter Hujar was an American photographer best known for his black and white portraits. He died of AIDS-related pneumonia in 1987, at the age of 53. Now, his work is being showcased at The Morgan Library & Museum in an exhibit titled Peter Hujar: Speed of Life.

You can check out a few photos here.  You won't find any landscapes.

"I photograph those who push themselves to any extreme and people who cling to the freedom to be themselves.” Peter Hujar

Gay Porn: Sean Cody Star Charged With Murder

Here's another dismal story about someone in the gay porn industry.

32-year-old Jordan Joplin performed as Zack on Sean Cody, Logan Cruise on Men.com and Bromo, and “bisexual jock” Rob Stonebridge on Randy Blue. He is accused of stealing from and murdering wealthy Alaskan surgeon Dr. Eric Garcia.

There's a lot more here. This could be James Franco's next Golden Globe and Oscar.

Frank Ocean and Timothee Chalamet Interview

Here's more paid promotional fluff about that movie, Call Me By Your Name...the film that celebrates a 17 year old barely legal boy having a sexual relationship with an older man. They are calling the relationship with the barely legal 17 year old and the older man a gay love affair. I'm not joking. This is what they want us to think a gay love affair is all about.

In the ensuing interview, it emerges that the star even read the book the film’s based on, by AndrĂ© Aciman, to prepare.

You can read more here.  This is a good example of how this movie had been promoted from the beginning.
