Steve Grand In Provincetown; A Teen's Coming Out Graduation Speech; More Gay Sex Scandal In the Catholic Church

Steve Grand In Provincetown

Openly gay entertainer, Steve Grand, who is one of the newer stars who created a place for himself in the entertainment world through online exposure only, and crowdfunding, will be playing at the Art House in Provincetown this week.

While ogling the pic, please note that Grand will be performing at The Provincetown Art House Theatre every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 7 pm from July 5 through August 31.

I would imagine the show is sold out, but if you are in P'town this week you might see him walking down Commercial Street at some point.

You can read the rest here.

A Teen's Coming Out Graduation Speech

Yesterday, Tony and I spent the afternoon and evening with Tony's brother and his kids from Utah. They hadn't been back east for a while and we wanted to spend as much time as possible with them. The only reason I'm even mentioning this is because we got to meet our niece...Tony's brother's daughter...Bella's new girlfriend for the first time. Bella is 18 and she recently came out as a gay woman.

In any event, here's a story about a guy who recently gave a graduation speech you'll remember for a long time...

Down on humanity? Well, give this a whirl: A graduation speech from a palpably nervous, ridiculously charismatic young man named Evan Young is making the rounds — and deservedly so. Without giving anything away, we’ll just say the brief video demands your undivided attention.

You can watch it here.  This is what Pride is all about.

More Gay Sex Scandal In the Catholic Church

I hate to even post about this with something as wonderful as the article I linked to above, but it's real and it's news. Unfortunately.

Vatican police raided a cardinal’s apartment after neighbors reported some seemingly unholy goings on. Upon entering the unit, they found themselves in the middle of a wild drug-fueled gay sex orgy.

The allegations of the sex orgy were first published by the Italian newspaper Il Fatto Quotidiano.

According to the paper, the raid happened in June. Police entered an apartment at the former palace of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (or Holy Office) located on the outskirts of Vatican City.

Here's the rest. It's no surprise to me. I've posted before about the two closeted gay Catholic bishops Tony and I were very close to at one time right here in New Hope...and we didn't even know they were Catholic bishops at the time, who were living double lives. And, they had a 3-way gay relationship going on with a guy who was more than 20 years younger than each of them. They broke my shock meter with anything gay related to the Catholic church.
