Don't judge the headline with this one. It's far more complicated than what it seems.
Buying and/or selling babies is almost never okay; at least not in Spain. This immutable fact is best exemplified by the following true story of one woman, one infant, and two nefarious gay men who would stop at nothing to give the child a loving home.
The woman in question (her name has not been released) was arrested in Spain for selling her newborn to the couple for €10,000 (roughly 10,677 of your American dollars) after they paid the mom to be their surrogate, which OK, when you put it like that, actually sounds pretty above board.
One of the men is the baby's natural father.

Lifetime's Brittany Spears Biopic
Even though we often wonder why, Lifetime is famous for doing things like this.
It’s Britney, bitch. Actually, it’s not. It’s really, really not.
But The Lifetime Channel desperately hopes you won’t hold that against them.
In the grand tradition of Whitney and The Anna Nicole Story, Lifetime has done it again by producing an upcoming Britney Spears biopic, starring Natasha Bassett as the “Toxic” star.
You can check out the photos, here. I don't know what else to say.
Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie
I saw it last weekend on demand and loved it. Unlike so many TV shows that go to feature film that don't work, I thought they nailed this one. It's still funny, it's still relevant, and I think it's even better (and campier) now that Patsy and Edina are older.
They even have a quick Shirley Bassey scene.
Patsy and Edina are back in their first – and, according to star Jennifer Saunders, their last – motion picture. As shallow and debauched as ever, this time Edina scrambles for a new PR gig and, in an attempt to land Kate Moss, accidentally pushes her into the Thames and a watery death. Cue (more) zany antics! All the hallmarks from the series are back – botox! smoking! obsession over aging! – while it’s a treat to see characters like Bubbles again in full-tilt bonkers mode, plus celeb cameos to boot. The wealth of extras include deleted scenes, outtakes, featurettes, and a set visit with Dame Edna.
You can read more about it here. There are also a few more film mentions.
