I think a few of the new Netflix shows have proven that the sitcom isn't totally dead. And Vicious on PBS was wonderful. I do, however, think it's a long shot...because so many younger people aren't even bothering to watch TV anymore.
In any event, this could be interesting.
We could all use a little good news right now, and this is pretty damn good news: Amy Poehler is going to be producing a new show about a gay couple who have fallen in love despite coming from two very different cultures. It’s called “Family Style,” and it’s about two men who run a restaurant in Miami, and their multi-generational family.
You can read more here. There are two comments now, and neither one of them seems very encouraging. But it's all subjective.
Calum McSwiggan Sentenced For False Report
I've been following this story since it happened last summer.
After pleading guilty, YouTube personality Calum McSwiggan has been sentenced for vandalizing a car and telling authorities he was attacked last summer in West Hollywood.
According to The Mercury News, the 26-year-old has been sentenced to “three years felony probation” and “52 anger-management councelling sessions.”
Here's the rest, and they give a more detailed history of what happened. It's a shame. Such a nice looking guy, and now this.
John Barrowman's Husband's Big Penis
I know I posted about this earlier this year. It's great clickbait, and I love John Barrowman.
While receiving the Human Rights Campaign’s Visibility Award last week, actor John Barrowman made it a point to thank his husband’s genitals.
Barrowman, best known for his work on Arrow, recounted how husband Scott Gill unwittingly exposed his manhood to the world.
You can check it out here. And here's a link to the actual video, which I believe is SFW. In the video Barrowman starts out talking about, the wind. And he continues to talk about, the wind, until his husband shows up naked for a second in the background.
