Prince Harry Helps Gay Guy; Full Frontal Nudity Trueblood; Oscar Pistorius Indicted For Murder
Prince Harry Helps Gay Guy
I'm linking to this article, but I did check a few others and they all back this one up. Evidently, Prince Harry is turning out to be a real life hero and it's not planned or staged at all. In Prince Harry's case, it's as genuine as a hero can get.
A gay soldier told last night how Prince Harry bravely rescued him from a terrifying homophobic attack by squaddies from a rival regiment.
The Prince stepped in to save Trooper James Wharton after he was confronted by six soldiers threatening to ‘batter’ him.
There are many reasons why I think the world finds Prince Harry so fascinating, among them are his looks and the feeling of excitement he seems to bring wherever he goes. I also think he reminds the world of his mother, and she probably would have done something just like he'd done if she'd seen Trooper James Wharton being bullied by the other soldiers. I also think this particular example of his heroism shows that you don't always have to save someone from a burning building to be a hero. Sometimes all you have to do is the right thing.
After taking on the gang, Harry briefed a senior officer before returning to assure Wharton the situation had been ‘sorted’.
The soldier, who quit the Army earlier this year, said: ‘I will always be grateful to Harry and I will never forget what happened. Until he went over and dealt with everything I was on track for a battering.’
Full Frontal Nudity Trueblood
Last night Tony and I went to an early dinner party with old friends we hadn't seen in a while, and thank the gods for DVR because it was the season finale of Trueblood, and I like to see how they tie things up with the storyline in the last show.
And last night they actually did a full frontal nude scene with Alexander Skarsgard, who plays "Eric" on the show. Photos provided with link.
There are more in this article.
The 36-year-old actor showed off his whole bod in the clip – click inside to check it out but BEWARE! The scene shows a major spoiler for his character Eric.
Now, to be perfectly honest, you don't see much full frontal. But since this is about as interesting as it gets with male full frontal nudity on TV or in films, at least it's a start.
Oscar Pistorius Indicted for Murder
I think everything about the story of Oscar Pistorius is painfully sad. A talented young man overcomes all kinds of obstacles most of us can't even imagine, only to wind up indicted for allegedly murdering his girlfriend. I use the word allegedly because in the US we are considered innocent until proven guilty. According to this, it's the same in S. Africa where OP was indicted.
The much-awaited indictment in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court yielded new detail about how prosecutors will pursue a case that has gripped the world because of the celebrity status of Pistorius, who overcame his disability to become a global phenomenon. His model girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, would have celebrated her 30th birthday on Monday.
Prosecutors said Pistorius shot "with the intention to kill a person," and a prosecution spokesman said after the hearing that it was premeditated murder.
This is going to be an interesting case to follow, just based on that comment alone. While I don't see why OP's celebrity status should make a difference, it always does. I think what happened to Martha Stewart, of course on a much smaller scale, is proof of this.
For those who don't know all the facts about this case, here's a fairly good article that goes into more detail.
As for the murder case itself, for now the ball remains firmly in the prosecution's court as they continue to prepare their docket, with forensic evidence likely to play a central role.
