Earthquake in Virginia...

The earthquake may have been centered in Virginia, but we felt it all the way up here in New Hope, Bucks County, PA.

Ironically, I was finishing up an intense erotic scene for the next Virgin Billionaire book and I was debating about whether or not to use the phrase "earth-moving." I don't normally use phrases like that. But when the earthquake hit and my computer screen began to shake, and books fell off my bookcase on the other side of my office, I figured this time it just might work.

I hope everyone in Virginia is okay. I'm still getting phone calls from friends in Delaware and Washington about what happened. And I still can't believe we felt it all the way up here in Pennsylvania.

I'm glad that you're okay and that it wasn't anything really bad. I live on the East Coast and have friends that live up in the areas that all felt it and while none of them are hurt, I think we're all in shock that the East Coast even had an earthquake in the first place.

Thanks...It was shocking, especially considering that Philadelphia felt it so much. And New York, too. I was working one minute and the next the computer was shaking back and forth.

I bet. I experienced an earthquake once as a kid and all I can remember is watching all of my mother's carousel horses fall to the ground and my easel toppling over. It is a very sudden thing and always takes your breath away.
