For anyone who hasn't been able to download either of these books as an e-book, they are now out in paperback as traditional print books. If you click on the photos of the book covers, you will be directed to the amazon page where there's more information about the books.

Congrats on the print books. I read them as e-books. But I'll pass the word around.
This is an amateur blog, where I discuss my published books, my personal life, and sometimes the writing of other people. If I review a book, I pay for the book myself. I do not endorse anyone or charge fees of any kind. I do not accept gifts, money, or any form of payment as a result of this blog.
About Me
ryan field
rfieldj@aol.com
I'm an LGBT writer who has been in publishing for the past seventeen years. I'm with the Lori Perkins Agency, and my wonderful agent there is Marsha Philitas. I've worked as an assistant editor, editor, journalist and fiction writer. My work has been published by Alyson Books, Cleis Press, STARBooks Press, and other LGBT publishers. I have a long list of fiction published with pen names as well. And my LGBT romance novels are currently being published with www.ravenousromance.com. AN OFFICER AND HIS GENTLEMAN was recently sold to Alyson Publications and will be released later this year.
I don't have an official web site. As a rule, I'm not a huge fan of writers' web pages. I think readers are more interested in learning simple, basic facts about the writer and his or her work. So this blog is a collection of information about my work and other personal posts I sometimes write. My e-mail is listed in several places, and I welcome all comments on the thread or with e-mail.
An LGBT take on a classic movie, with a hunky professional poker player and an international designer as main characters. And a pet pig named "Dolly."
The Ghost and Mr. Moore
Set in Provincetown, MA, this love story between a former child star and the ghost of a sea captain promises a very happy ending
Sleepless in San Francisco
If you love home renovation shows on TV, hot air balloons, cute dogs, and a romance with a happy ending, you'll like this one.
BOYS OF THE BITE
A nice review for this book: http://thefleam.blogspot.com/2009/08/boys-of-bite-gay-vampire-anthology.html
Take Me Always
Out as an e-book right now with ravenousromance.com
LAMBDA AWARD WINNER
It was a choice between two stories in this book. I'm glad my story "Down the Basement" won, because the book went on to win this year's Lambda Award for gay erotica.
HE'S BEWITCHED
Just released by Ravenousromance.com, this novel is a light paranormal romance with a road trip to Cape Cod, an amazing little dog, and a love story with a very happy ending.
American Star
A satirical erotic romance loosely based on the TV show American Idol. Just released on amazon.com in paperback, or as an ebook at ravenousromanc.com
Capping the Season
A sneak peak at a new book being released this month. The artist must have been reading my mind.
BEST GAY LOVE STORIES 2009
Alyson Books
Best Gay Love Stories: Summer Flings
This was one of those books I loved being part of because the erotic scenes are simple and light. I was allowed to stretch beyond the sex and focus on the love.
Blurbs
"Ryan Field has a knack for keeping me up all night. He never disappoints." ...Owen Keehnan
Backdraft
A book I'm in edited by Shane Allison. I submitted the story and an hour later, with unheard of speed in publishing, Shane accepted it for the book.
cross dressing
My story in this book was challenging. But it was worth the effort because I'm a huge fan of the editor, Rachel Kramer Bussel
Cruise Lines Ship to Shore
This was published by Alyson Books. I have a soft spot for Ayson because I've been in their books since they were located on 40 Pympton Street in Boston.
Strawberries and cream at The Plaza, a romantic meeting in Central Park and more romance in one day than most people have in a lifetime. And it's all in my short story, A BLOGGER BOI, found in this book.
Unlike most stories, where the rich and powerful husband dumps the hard working, devoted life partner for someone younger, this one takes a turn in the opposite direction when the rich husband is the one to get dumped. But with young Josh's help, Roland learns in less than a week's time that his future can still hold both earth-shattering sex and a love of real substance.
An Officer And His Gentleman
As Chance fights to live his dream as a chef on the food network, and Brody wrestles with the opportunities and limitations imposed by the military, will they be able to find happiness in each other's arms?
HOW THE WEST WAS DONE
My short story, RUDY'S KAZOO, is in this book
Whatever, Dude
When a young professional is mistaken for a hooker, the outcome is always shocking.
Boys are Ugly
